Parking at the Club

Parking space at the Club is very limited and reserved for Club members. Event parking will be provided on the grass in the park adjacent to the rigging area. All competitors and visitors to the event are asked to enter the parking area via McMillan Ave. Visitors are cautioned not to park in the council parking bays along the Sanoni Ave entrance to the Club which have strict time limits (once per day) and automated camera enforement. 

This event is organised by the NSW ACT Laser Association.

Accommodation suggestions

Below is a list of the accommodation options relatively nearby (within 15 -20 minutes drive):

GRSC has arranged for a discount for competitors at the Travelodge at Hurstville.  Details can be found here.

Hurstville is about a 10-15 minute drive away from the club, but has plenty of eating and shopping options nearby.

The closer, but more expensive, option is the Novotel at Brighton (about 5 minute drive).  We don’t have any special deal there, but they are aware of the event, so it would be worth asking if you have a large group.

There are also other hotels near the airport, but you are getting further away, and into areas where eating options may be more limited. 

Unfortunately there are no real public transport options to the club, so if you are with a group you may want to look into hiring a car/people mover between you.
